What data sources does AdverseMe check?
110+ integrated sources, all listed inside the app: 13 official sanctions feeds snapshotted twice a day, 5 GCC and MENA national terror lists parsed daily, law-enforcement notices, financial regulators worldwide, corporate registries, court records, investigative journalism and adverse-media search.
How is a screening scored?
4 independent AI judges from 4 model families score each finding blind. The median becomes the score and dissent is counted. Matching cached evidence can reuse a verdict within 14 days when the subject, list versions and methodology remain unchanged. See Methodology for the conditions and limitations.
Is AdverseMe suitable for a small team?
Yes. Starter is $49 a month for 50 screenings and includes every feature: the AI council, ownership graph, Engine Trace, PDF reports, monitoring, batch CSV, cases, teams, the API and the audit log.
Do you offer an API?
Yes, on every plan. Authenticate with an X-API-Key header against the base URL adverseme.com/api/public-api, then POST /screen to start a screening. Poll GET /screening/{id} until completed, use GET /screening/{id}/pdf for the report and GET /credits for your balance.
How do you handle data privacy?
Account and screening data at rest is stored on Microsoft Azure in West Europe. Screening, payment and other services can process relevant data in other countries, as described in the privacy policy and sub-processor list. Review those details for your data-protection requirements.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel from your account settings at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do credits work?
Each screening uses 1 credit. Monitoring delta checks are free. A full re-screen after an escalation uses 1 credit. Credits reset when your plan renews.
