How credits work
Credits are spent on screening, not on reading

1 credit per screening
A person or company screening across all 117 sources uses 1 credit, whether you start it in the app, from a CSV or through the API.

Monitoring delta checks are free
When a list version changes, the entities on your monitors are re-checked against the difference at no charge.

Escalation costs 1 credit
If a delta check finds a confirmed hit, AdverseMe runs a full re-screen of that entity and charges 1 credit. A weak match only raises an alert and costs nothing.

Credits reset on renewal
Your monthly allowance refreshes when the plan renews. PDF downloads never use a credit.

Pricing questions
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes, from your account settings. An upgrade takes effect when you complete checkout. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period; there are no pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a month.
What happens if I use all my credits before the month ends?
You can move to a larger plan from your account settings. Credits refresh when the plan renews. Monitoring delta checks keep running for free while your balance is empty; only a full screening or an escalation needs a credit.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly in advance. Cancel from your account settings at any time and access continues until the end of the current billing period. There is no annual commitment.
Do PDF reports or API calls cost extra?
No. PDF downloads are free, and the API uses the same 1 credit per screening as the app. Fetching a result, a PDF or your credit balance over the API does not use credits.
Are the features different between plans?
No. Starter, Professional and Enterprise all include the AI council, ownership graph, Engine Trace, PDF reports, monitoring, batch CSV, cases, teams, the API and the audit log. The plans differ only in the number of screenings a month: 50, 300 and 1,500.
What currency are prices in?
Prices are in US dollars and billed monthly in advance by card. Each billing cycle runs for one month from the date of subscription or renewal.
